Book a free consultation with our Nurse Practitioner to discuss your weight loss goals, and determine if our program is right for you.
During the call
After your consultation, you can schedule your appointment to have your labs drawn and schedule your initial in-home visit.
During this visit, we will review your labs, discuss your current weight loss goals, assess diet and exercise, devise a plan for the upcoming week, perform your complimentary 15-minute HIIT workout, and administer your prescribed medication.
You will have access to the patient portal. Here you can send messages to your practitioner, purchase packages, schedule sessions, record your daily weight, food intake, water intake, activity, sleep and mood. This information is tracked to evaluate your progress throughout the program.
Receive a complimentary consultation with one of our Personal Trainers to receive additional guidance on your diet and exercise plan. You can also discuss further training options with our trainers if you’re interested in their packages.
Each week we will evaluate your current progress, adjust medications accordingly per dosing regimen, and intensify the HIIT sessions to further enhance physical demand, energy expenditure, and overall strength (this doesn’t mean body builder, our key focus is stability and safety to improve overall body mechanics).
At BMS Wellness, we’re here to support you every step of the way on your wellness journey. Our personalized approach and dedicated team are committed to helping you achieve your weight loss goals and live a healthier life.
High intensity interval training (HIIT) is a workout method that involves short bursts of intense exercise followed by brief periods of rest or lower-intensity activity. This type of training is effective for weight loss because it can boost metabolism and calorie burning both during and after the workout. By alternating between high-intensity and recovery intervals, HIIT workouts maximize calorie expenditure in a shorter amount of time compared to a steady-state cardio routine. Additionally, HIIT can help preserve muscle mass while promoting fat loss, leading to a leaner physique. This method is also versatile and can be adapted to different fitness levels and preferences, making it accessible and efficient for those looking to lose weight and improve overall fitness.

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measure used to assess a person’s body weight in relation to their height. It’s calculated by dividing an individual’s weight in kilograms by the square of their height in meters. BMI serves as a screening tool to determine whether someone is underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese. While it’s useful for population-level health assessments, BMI doesn’t directly measure body fat and may not account for variations in body composition among individuals.
Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is the amount of energy expended by the body at rest to maintain basic physiological functions such as breathing, circulation, and cell production. It’s influenced by factors like age, gender, weight, height, and body composition. BMR serves as a baseline for estimating daily calorie needs and helps individuals tailor their diet and exercise routines to achieve specific health and fitness goals. It’s also valuable in clinical settings for assessing energy requirements in patients undergoing medical treatment or weight management programs.
At BMS Wellness we recommend routine labs prior to initiating your weight loss program. Labs provide valuable insight into the body’s current state of health.
You may also provide a copy of your most recent labs from your primary care physician (PCP) or refuse them altogether at your own risk.
If you would like to have your lab work completed with us, please purchase the Blood Work package and we will initiate the process.
(Please note that BMS Wellness is not taking the place of your PCP and will not be treating other health conditions)
